Order using the Opticon barcode scanner for retailers. It’s revolutionary, innovative, and it’s very low cost!
To maximise efficiency, have your shop fitted with Groves fixtures, and be sure that all your products are backed with our barcoded re-order tickets. System Requirements To use the Opticon scanner with the Groves website you must be using a Windows PC running the Internet Explorer web browser. |
| 1 | Scan the barcodes |  |
| 2 | Connect the scanner to the PC using the USB cable |  |
| 3 | Navigate to the Upload or Input Codes page. If this is the first time you have visited the page, you will be prompted to install an Addon. This will appear in a yellow box at the bottom of the browser. If you have problems installing the Addon you might need to adjust your Internet Explorer security settings appropriately. |

| 4 | Choose COM port & Click on Upload Barcodes. Choose the COM port your USB scanner is attached to. If you don't know the port number, start at 1 and work upwards until barcodes are recieved. The barcodes will be downloaded from your scanner and show in the boxes on the screen. |

| 5 | Click on Validate Barcodes. This will verify that the products scanned are stocked by us, allow you to view more details on them and adjust quantities prior to adding them into the basket |

Add all the selected items to your basket. |

| 7 | Browse the online catalogue to add other items not forgetting to review our special offers and featured products |

| 8 | Click on checkout enter your PO, internal reference number or initials, and thats it ! |
